LWF : Peace Messengers training

 

  The Luther World Federation Youth organized a third training for youth in leadership  

In order to empowering youth to be peace multipliers in their communities, the LWF Youth planed a third training.

This training will start on June1st to end June5th 2022. Hosted by LWF Youth, this will be the third training for youth in a leadership capacity in LWF’s member churches, since the Peace Messengers program was established in 2017. It is part of the Global Young Reformers Network’s focus on 2022 as the Year of Peace.

The training will pay attention to the intersection between peace building and LWF Youth priorities and thematic areas: equity, education, revival of churches, climate justice, and gender justice. Topics will include understanding peace and conflict, conflict analysis and conflict resolution.

With the newly acquired skills, each trainee will be expected to set up and lead a small-scale peace building project in their own church, supported by the LWF
